Ready to use BCIP+NBT chromegenic solution is a precipitating substrate for alkaline phosphatase (AP). BCIP+NBT chromegenic solution should be added into Elisa-spot plates for 45-90 minutes at room temperature in the a place. Alkaline phosphatase enzymatically converts colorless BCIP+NBT solution into dark-blue spots precipitated on the membrane marking sites of protein secreting cells. Our BCIP+NBT hromogenic solution forms crisp and intense spots that can be easily detected and counted either manually or using automated plate readers. Producing diffuse-free tight spots this chromogen allows detecting up to 1000 individual spots per well without a noticeable background.
